- Show your browser's bookmarks bar using its bookmarks or view menu.
- Drag Ueddit.com above onto the bar.
- Open a public Reddit post or subreddit, then click the saved bookmark. On other websites, it asks you to paste a Reddit link instead.
A bookmarklet is a bookmark containing a small JavaScript program. This one runs only when you click it and sends the current Reddit URL (or the link you enter) to Ueddit.com for validation and removal of common tracking parameters. It does not read cookies or page contents, or load external scripts.
Manual setup, mobile and troubleshooting
If dragging is unavailable, create a bookmark named
Ueddit.com, edit its address, and replace it
with the entire code below, including javascript:.
Select the field and use Select All, then Copy. The code is also an alternative for keyboard-only setup.
Best on desktop. Mobile bookmark editing and execution vary by browser; the link converter above remains available without a bookmarklet. Browser-internal pages and some site security policies can block execution. If Reddit has already replaced the original address with a login page, paste the original subreddit or post link into the converter instead.
